How to sell palladium.
Selling palladium well comes down to three things: knowing what you have, knowing today's price, and getting a written offer stated as a percentage of that price. Palladium is at $945 an ounce right now (the Kitco bid).

Know what you have
- Palladium coins: Palladium Eagles and Maple Leafs.
- Palladium bars: 1 ozt bars from refiners like PAMP and Valcambi.
- Palladium jewelry: less common; some white jewelry is palladium or a palladium alloy, which needs testing.
Palladium bullion is marked with its weight and purity (.9995). Jewelry that might be palladium should be tested before it's priced.
Know what it's worth
Dealers pay a percentage of the spot price, the market price for an ounce. We pay 95% of the palladium value for palladium bullion coins and bars. Today that comes to:
| Item | We pay today |
|---|---|
| 1 ozt palladium coin or bar | $897.75 |

Ask each buyer what percentage you'll be paid, of which price, and when that price is set. An offer stated as a percentage of the live spot price is easy to compare; a single dollar figure for a bag of mixed items isn't. See how much buyers pay.
Ship it safely, or meet in person
Selling by mail works well once you have a written estimate: ship insured, with tracking and a signature. In the Bay Area we come to you for estates. See how to ship.
Get paid
We pay within 7 to 10 business days after delivery, by Zelle, wire, ACH, or PayPal, to an account in your name. You'll need photo ID and a signed ownership statement. See how it works.
