Minimums. Our minimum is $1,000 per order, and smaller lots are considered case by case. Scrap gold needs at least 1/2 troy ounce of scrap material, and scrap sterling at least 1 kilo.
Estimated total
An estimate only. For scrap it treats everything you weigh as metal, but scrap is paid on its weight and purity after melting: stones are removed and anything that isn't metal burns off, so the weight paid is usually lower. Your final amount also depends on the Kitco bid at assay or, for coins and bullion, when we verify your package. Numismatic coins are priced by the piece and quoted separately.
