Privacy.
Osiris Precious Metals is a trade name of Delizia Capital, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through osirismetals.com and in the course of a purchase, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us. Through the request form, the estimate calculator, email, or text: your name, email address, phone number, your business's website if you give it, state, preferred contact and payment method, a description of your items, their approximate weight or value, and any photos you attach. Photos often carry details your phone or camera saved in them, such as when the photo was taken, where, and on what device. We keep those details with your request, to check the request and prevent fraud, and we remove them from the copies of your photos we work from.
- For a purchase. A copy of your government photo ID, your signed seller statement, mailing address if you give one, your payout details (such as a Zelle or PayPal handle, or bank account details), and records of the transaction, including weights, purity, prices, and payment.
- If you apply to our referral program. Your full legal name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and Zelle or PayPal details, and, if your referral fees approach the IRS reporting threshold, a W-9. We use them only to pay your referral fees, to check payees against the U.S. sanctions list, and for tax reporting.
- Our marketing emails. If you subscribe, by ticking the box on one of our forms or with the sign-up box at the bottom of our pages (which we confirm by email first), we keep your email address, when you subscribed, and the page you signed up on. Each email we send you contains a tiny image and tracked links, so we can see whether you opened it, which links you clicked, and when. We use this only to learn which emails are useful and to keep our list accurate, and it stops when you unsubscribe.
- Technical information. When you visit, our web host records standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time. We use these for security and to keep the site running.
- Site usage statistics. Our own website records which pages are viewed, which links and buttons are clicked, how far down a page you scroll and how long you stay, your device type (phone, tablet, or computer), the website or ad that brought you here (including campaign tags and ad-click identifiers in the link you followed), and whether a request was sent. These are tied together by a random visit ID kept in your browser tab, and by a random visitor ID in a cookie that lets us recognize a returning browser for about 13 months. We don't store your IP address with these statistics, and we don't use them to identify you. If you send a request, we record how you found us alongside it.
Cookies and tracking
We use our own cookies to recognize returning visitors and remember what first brought them to our site, and our usage statistics (above) are stored on our own server. When we advertise on Google, Instagram, Facebook, or Reddit, our site also loads that platform's tag, which uses cookies to measure which ads lead to visits and requests and to show our ads to people likely to be interested. Those platforms can collect information about your activity on our site and on other websites over time. Our cookies policy lists each cookie and what it does.
The estimate calculator briefly stores your entries in your own browser (session storage) so they can be carried into the request form; it's cleared when you close the tab.
After you send a request, your browser keeps your contact details (local storage, on your device only) so the form is filled in next time; "Not you?" on the form clears them.
If you open someone's referral link, we keep their referral code in a cookie for 90 days, so it's filled in on the request form and they're credited for referring you. We also note the visit by a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address, not the address itself, for 90 days, so we can ask whether a later request from the same address was referred. With Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control on, the code is kept for that tab only and the visit isn't noted.
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal, we don't set our cookies, record usage statistics, or load advertising tags for your visit.
How we use it
To respond to your request and prepare estimates; to understand how people find and use our website and which advertising works, so we can improve both; to complete, pay for, and record purchases; to verify identity and prevent fraud and the sale of stolen goods; and to meet our legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering, recordkeeping, and tax rules.
Who we share it with
We share personal information:
- with marketing partners who may contact you about products or services related to precious metals, but only if you opt in by ticking the box on our request or order form. We share only your name and contact details (email, phone, and state). We never share copies of your ID, your payout or bank details, or your transaction records with marketing partners. You can withdraw that consent at any time; see "Your choices" below;
- with advertising platforms (Google, Meta, and Reddit) through their tags on our site, as described under "Cookies and tracking": which pages you visit and whether you send a request, linked to the ad you clicked. We don't give them your name, contact details, ID, or transaction records;
- with service providers that help us operate, such as our web host, email provider, and payment providers, only as needed to provide their services;
- with government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement when the law requires it or to respond to suspected fraud or stolen property;
- with professional advisers such as our accountant or attorneys, under a duty of confidentiality.
How long we keep it
Records of completed purchases, including identity records, are kept for at least ten years, to meet federal recordkeeping rules for precious metals dealers and for sanctions screening. Other records, such as estimate requests and our notes on them, are kept while we may do business with you, and deleted when you ask us to, except anything the law requires us to keep. Usage statistics don't identify anyone and are kept indefinitely. Server logs are kept according to our web host's standard schedule.
Security
Estimate requests are stored outside the public website, and identity and payment records are kept in access-restricted accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send ID photos or bank details through the request form; once you accept an estimate, we'll email you a private link to upload your ID and signed statement. Files sent that way are stored privately and copied as images, and the files as sent are deleted.
Your choices
We send you our own marketing emails only if you asked for them, by ticking the box on one of our forms or with the sign-up box, and every one has an unsubscribe link. We share your contact details with marketing partners only if you opted in. To stop either, use our email preferences page or the unsubscribe link, or email sales@osirismetals.com with "Opt out" in the subject. We'll stop within 10 business days. Opting out doesn't affect estimates, purchases, or payments.
Reviewing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, except records we're required by law to keep. Email sales@osirismetals.com, and we'll verify your request before acting on it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll post the new policy here. If a change affects how we use information we've already collected, we'll ask for your consent first.
